Church Planter: #1 rule in Real Estate, location, location, location. #1 rule in Church Planting, relationships, rships, rships.

So very true. Many of the principles of marketing in this era of web and social networking also apply to Churches. Build relationships! Don’t just have a website, have a blog that invites comments. Don’t just have a Twitter account for people to stay up to date on events and happenings; interact with polls and words of wisdom.

Twitter vs. Facebook

It’s really pretty simple. Twitter is about what you know. People search for keywords, they look in trending topics, retweet interesting posts and share knowledge. Facebook is more about who you know. Where you went to school, where you have worked and what activities/groups you are involved in.
